Red, Blue and a Hint of White!

Chicago really comes alive in the summer with all the festivals and concerts that fill up the weekends and sometimes even the week nights! With all the fun festivities happening here is my first outfit to go to a concert.

Soprano Dress

I am wearing a Soprano dress that I bought from Nordstrom Rack and it was a real steal for under $30! This little blue dress looks amazing by itself but I really wanted to add in the sparkle!

J.Crew Sequin Top

To liven up my look I put a J.Crew tank top with sequins over the dress. I tied the top up on one side so that I didn’t lose the shape of the dress. It really added in that concert glam to the look don’t you think?

Marc Jacobs Bag

With the 4th of July coming up, I had to add in a bit of red and make it perfect to commemorate the day! This Marc Jacobs bag was just right for this outfit. I also added in a beautiful shade of bright red lipstick from Bite for an added touch of drama 🙂

Joan & David Shoes
Bite Lipstick

Wedges are great for a concert! They are comfortable and, especially for me, allow me to see over the tall people 🙂 I love these Joan & David wedges!

Anthropologie and J.Crew Bracelet

Accessory time with this outfit was fun and simple. I am wearing a J.Crew and Anthropologie bracelets and a Forever 21 red and gold ring. Keeping the accessories simple was key with the enormous amount of shine my top adds.

4th of July Look!

I am looking forward to putting together many more concert outfits this season. What do you think of this one?

That was a smart move to make the blue dress into something else altogether. 🙂

Wow, you have hit America squarely in the history of red, white and blue. My I suggest that you start a company geared toward fashion… And I can’t believe that you were able to secure that dress for 30$. That is what will excel you company in these United States. We miss you at DCIC… Will you be returning?
