Purple Lace For the Win!

This is my very first blog post and I really want to start with one of my wardrobe favs, so here goes.

Purple lace for the win!

A night out!

I look at Gilt everyday. I have to admit its one of my online window shopping avenues! They always have something that catches my eye and this Free People purple lace dress sure did!

It’s easy shopping online when you know your size. Being very petite, I always buy the smallest size there is. Great finds online in terms of fit is risky. But when your hit ratio is up there and a dress is a click away why not do it! I tried on the dress the day it arrived and it fit me like a glove. The color was amazing (I’m a Ravens fan, so yay purple!), the lace was so soft and the length was perfect. I don’t like wearing flowy, loose fitting dresses much since it feels like the dress is wearing me instead of me wearing the dress! So all I needed was a pretty belt to go with it and I had one. A White House Black Market elongated bow belt was exactly what I needed to complete the look for this dress. The dress was cinched at the waist which made it look cute and girly. It was amazingly comfortable which is so important because style is also about how you feel. Wearing something and the comfort factor brings out confidence which makes a world of difference!

This look is so versatile, put on a pair of boots and stockings for fall, throw on a cute cardigan and you’re ready for work, or match it with a pair of heels for a perfect night out! Guess what, I’ve used that dress for every look and it felt great!
