Having a beautiful jacket in Chicago is so essential with our short-lived summers!
The embroidered work and the mirror detail makes the jacket very unique.
This cropped jacket has a lovely, soft, thick velvet lining. The collar can be buttoned up like in the picture for a warmer feel.
I’ve paired the jacket with a white woolen skirt from J.Crew and black booties from Corello.
For the second look, I haven’t buttoned up the collar. Leaving it unbuttoned is an option as well and it could be worn on top of a wide range of colors found on the jacket like pink, orange, purple, olive, white and black.
I wanted the jacket to be the heart of the look, so I paired it with the white woolen skirt. It could be paired with jeans too.
The collar width around the nape of the neck is the one thing that I would change about the jacket. It is too narrow and makes the second look a little annoying as you need to adjust the collar multiple times. I like the open collar look for work or when you are indoors.
This is a great add to your wardrobe and easy to wear in fall. Paired with a bright inner blouse it is cute for spring too!
