Bacon and Sausage Frittata

Want to whip up a delicious sunday breakfast? Make this frittata, I promise it wont disappoint!




Servings – 6 to 8

  • 8 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh basil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 large potatoes, peeled and cut into half-inch cubes
  • 1/2 red pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • 6 slices bacon, chopped
  • 2 hot italian sausages
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, chopped fine
  • 1 avocado
  • 3 slices of provolone cheese


Preheat the oven to 425F.

In a mixing bowl, mix together the eggs, basil, parmesan, salt and pepper.

Now cook the chopped bacon and sausage together in a pan. When its cooked, transfer the cooked meat into a bowl leaving behind the fat in the pan.

In the same pan add in the chopped potatoes, salt and pepper and cook the potatoes until tender.

In a separate pan add in the olive oil, onions and garlic. Sauté it for about 5 minutes.

Now add in the tomatoes and cook for about 2 minutes. Then add in the peppers. Cook this mixture for about 3 minutes.

Now add in the potatoes and the bacon and sausage mixture. Mix this well.



Now add in the egg mixture to the pan. Mix it up well for about 1 to 2 minutes. Then transfer the mixture, the egg is still raw, into a baking pan. Put this into the oven at 425 F for about 20-25 minutes.

Now add the cheese slices. Put this back into the over for another 3 to 5 minutes.

Now cut the frittata into wedges and serve with slices of avocado! I sure hope you love it as much as I do!
